About John G Rowlands
Originally from Llanrhystud, Ceredigion. Educated in Aberystwyth. Studied Art in Cardiff, Bristol and Trinity College, Carmarthen. Worked as an Art teacher in Buxton, Ystradgynlais and Aberystwyth until he became the Art Education Officer in the National Museum, Cardiff. Won the crown in Pontrhydfendigaid Eisteddfod 1986. Published two volumes with Lolfa Press - ANNWYL ARHOLWR and ABER. Lives in Tremadog, Gwynedd.

Yn enedigol o Lanrhystud, Ceredigion. Astudiodd Gelf yng Nghaerdydd, Bryste a Choleg y Drindod, Caerfyrddin. Bu’n athro Celf yn Buxton, Ystradgynlais ac Aberystwyth cyn gweithio fel Swyddog Addysg Celf yn yr Amgueddfa Genedlaethol. Enillodd Goron Pantyfedwen, Pontrhydfendigaid ym 1986. Cyhoeddwyd dwy gyfrol o’i eiddo gan Y Lolfa- ANNWYL ARHOLWR ac ABER. Ar hyn o bryd mae'n byw yn Nhremadog, Gwynedd.
