"CHROMA"
MOMA, Machynlleth
18/04/2026 to 13/07/2026

I was given the opportunity to exhibit paintings in MOMA in 2007 on the theme of WALLS. The images were based on patterns on the walls of Cricieth’s two promenades……marks of weathering, the seepage of water through the concrete and the everchanging light.

CHROMA is an extension of that theme but with more emphasis on flow and texture and venturing further into the cosmos of colour. Sometimes the grain of the plywood provided inspiration. I began with simplicity in mind (as I try to do when writing haiku) but micro became macro towards the end of the journey!
